A Ghanaian, Nancy Abu-Bonsrah, has made history already in the US as she emerged the first black female neurosurgeon at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 30 years...John Hopkins School of Medicine is the same university where the notable Ben Carson ,the first black neurosurgeon, emerged. If the name Ben Carson does not ring a bell then you should read the books Think Big and Gifted Hands by him. Dr. Ben Carson, is now the United States secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Nancy Abu-Bonsrah who is graduating from John Hopkins will go on to work in their
neurosurgery department. She hails from Ghana and was raised in the West
African country till she became 15, she has been living in the United States for the
past 11 years. We sincerely hope she will go on to do great works like Dr Ben. Congrats Nana.
